Pacific Yew 120#

AH:
So I hadn't made a bow in years as college got in the way but recently got back into it with quarantine. This started out as a replica of MR Bow "B" from Hugh Soar's book Secrets of the English Warbow, but the MR dimensions yielded a substantial weak spot in the upper limb and it was overall quite a bit heavier than I would have liked, so I ditched the MR replica idea and retillered it to what it is now. It's 120 @ 32" and 81" ntn, finished with tru-oil.

Very nice bow :)

Nice job  :)
Handsome bit of horn :)
You've revealed the problem with trying to follow dimensions... they only apply to that specific piece of wood that the bow was made from. They are a good guide of course. :)
