Brian you did a great job thinning that piece. When I get some special stone I have a tendency to use the wet saw to slab. Since I don't have a volcano in my back yard. John

Thanks Stoner. I don’t have a volcano either. I’m so glad my cousin found one.lol.  He like making spalls. He does pretty good at it. He never quite figured out how to complete the process and thin them out and make a point. He sent me one box of spalls and another box with two larger pieces I’m hoping to borrow my buddies tile saw and cut a few slabs. It does save so much valuable material.

I did get a couple nice big flakes I think I can get some more points from while thinning this one

Here’s another spear point I made from one off the “flakes” from mass reducing the original.
