Recent natural shaft harvest

(1/2) > >>

eastcreekarchery:
Here are some natural shafts i collected recently. They include viburnum, red osier, another dogwood (not sure of the name, the shoots are a nice light green color), wild rose, and domesticated rose.

Jakesnyder:
Nice find! One thing I've learned is collect way more than you need as not every shoot will yield a good arrow.

Pat B:
The green stem dogwood you have could be a cultivar of Cornus sericea(var. "Flaviramea"), red osier dogwood.

DC:
Around here about half of the Red Osier is green.

aznboi3644:
Viburnum is my favorite arrow shaft.  It’s super strong.
