Is 7 yards to close to tune an arrow?

Reason I'm asking is my garage is the only place I can shoot right now. I've had a 3 R archery tomahawk for a while but didn't know about arrow tuning. Most every shot is left of where I aim and would like to try some weaker arrows but not if it's in vain because I'm to close to the target.

Hawkdancer:
From previous posts, 7 yards should be enough.  For arrows, not sure about tomahawks! >:D (lol)

Thanks, yeah I usually zero my tomahawks at a hundred...lol

mmattockx:
Is this for bare shaft tuning or fletched? I wouldn't have thought 7yds was far enough to tell much either way, though.

Inches >:D (lol)?  Throwing in the garage could be hard on the 'hawk if you miss or bounce!  I'm looking for a big round slab to set up a target - also got to fing my hawks, they are still in the boxes or other stuff in the shop, I think!
