Little hunter
Marc St Louis:
His head is poking out the hole. Red Squirrels make a lot of passages under the snow to get from one place to another and he was making use of them. I wonder if they ever meet up under the snow. He wasn't too afraid of me
JW_Halverson:
I once saw a disembodied pheasant head bounding through a snowy ditch in North Dakota. I turned around, drove back and bailed out of the pickup. When I got close I saw the beady little black eyes of a winter coated weasel! I left the little devil to his feast, he was welcome to it!
Marc St Louis:
I put out a few pieces of Chicken along with some Chicken fat when I saw him, there was a ball of suet hanging above him and he was trying to figure out how to get to it. In the picture he was licking the fat
bjrogg:
Finger licking good Marc. I’m sure between the suet, chicken fat and occasional bird and squirrel. He is pretty happy there.
Pappy:
Very cool picture, never would have seen it if someone hadn't have told me where to look. :) What is it ??
