Is this the kind of music you guys listen to?

HanibalLecter(InnerSmile):
Guys, I need a little help here, and I hope you'll correct me if I'm wrong, but would you say I'm not mistaken, if I said that, in general, this is the type of music the Primitive Archer community listens to?

For some reason I just always got the impression that this is the kind of music you guys listen to.

 ???
No.
Why do you ask?

Hawkdancer:
Very interesting question!  Totally irrelevant to archery, but good!  We prefer country, Celtic, folk, most any original America style, and have several of our songs and narrations out there.  Btw, we occasionally make meat!

I'm a product of the 60's & 70's - Rock and Roll stirs My Soul  :OK ! Bob

Eric Krewson:
I am 73, my music tastes run from the gentle harmony of the Platters to the head banging
chaos of Slipknot and the like, Stevie Ray fits right in there, don't care much for Primus.

As long as the artist is very accomplished at what they do I like them, particularly the axe men(or women) who can set a guitar on fire like Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, David Gilmore and a host of others.

As for women, in this case a 16 year old girl, Tina S will stand up to the best of them, men or women.

I can't stand to listen to any of the whiney voiced female pop stars that all have the same singsong voice that apparently appeals to teeny boppers.

Rap, not on your life although some of the very early stuff by NWA, Sir Mixalot or Tone Loc wasn't too bad.

Country, the old stuff was good, the new stuff is so processed and canned that you can't tell one song from the other. I heard a tape where they played the music track from 7 different current country songs spliced together, you couldn't tell where one ended and another began, they were that similar.

I dismissed Lady Gaga until I heard her perform with Tony Bennet and saw just how amazingly talented she was.

As for myself, not a single person on the planet has less musical ability than I do, like many I tried a guitar as a teen and realized music just doesn't compute in my brain. In life I can do just about anything out there and do it well except play any music of any kind, I will leave that to the experts.

Oh yea, when singing voices were handed out, mine had to come for the biggest monotone bull frog in the pond, absolutely pitiful, I have about a half an octave range.
