Broadhead's latest victim

(1/3) > >>

Digital Caveman:
Never done this before, but apparently a 5/16 shaft is no match for a broadhead.  Unfortunately the arrow was part of a new kids set; it was only ever shot twice.  :(

WhistlingBadger:
Oh, bummer.  It's funny how non-archers seem to view the "Robin Hood" shot as the ultimate accomplishment, but most of us cringe at the thought of destroying an arrow.  ha ha

Digital Caveman:
Unfortunately this was not even a Robin Hood.  The small arrow was not in the center, and the broadhead was aimed at nothing in particular.  Also, a Robin Hood is hit in the knock, mine was a lot sloppier.  :-\

Hawkdancer:
AHA!  A chance to test your skill at arrow making before the demise is discovered, or rectify the OOPS!  Several years ago, I managed to take out 3 red osier shafts with 1 arrow - rather upset me!  Especially since I had them ready to fletch and finish!

I'd like to see how that happened.  I use plastic knocks so that if I hit the knock I can just replace it, the shaft is generally fine.  That actually just happened the other day.  This was not so neat.
