Flint and steel fires

No, got from a buschcraft site.

Char cloth is a big help to get a spark on.

White Falcon:
Smoked B. B. Ribs today. Coals, wood from whisky barrel, small piece of fat wood, and a flint and steel.

Hawkdancer:
Time to start practicing! (=).  Ed, that is a neat tradition.  I remember many Scout troops kept a piece of charred wood from the last campfire to use in starting the next campfire continue the spirit of the camp.
