I had a new lock on and Summit climbing sticks stolen by a guy's druggie son, the dad owned land next to our lease. I really liked the dad, he was a great guy and still my friend 20 years later.

Because I liked the dad and because his son had been such a thorn in his side over the years I let it go rather than cause the dad more grief.

I got my fishing pole stolen once. It was the best I could afford at the time which was only 60$ but I loved that rod with all my heart. Left the garage open one day and came home to my tackle box a mess and my rod gone… I hope the guy has long, hot fishing days where he always gets nibbles but never is able to hook em. I hope his line snaps on every big one end I hope he pokes his finger every time he tries too hook a worm.
