A Nice Surprise

(1/2) > >>

Eric Krewson:
I like to do things for people, I never expect anything in return but sometime years later I get a surprise.

I helped a guy's son learn about traditional archery 10 to15 years ago, the son was interested in bow fishing so I gave him all my bow fishing supplies, I didn't plan to ever use it again, later I made the dad a bow string and never thought anymore about it.

Yesterday he called me, he said a friend had died and left him some B/P stuff that he didn't have any use for and wanted to know it I could use it, of course I could.

He dropped by and loaded me down with .490 balls, lots of .50 cleaning supplies, a horn, 3 tins of caps, hundreds of .430 conicals, ball starter,  several new in the pack hot shot nipples and a bunch of other B/P  bric-a-brack.

Nice gift, Eric. A good friend of mine gave me an old JoJan Multifletch and a Young feather burner about 40 years ago. He got them from an old friend that got too old to shoot. I think he probably bought them 40 years before he gave the stuff to my friend. I still use both.

PaulN/KS:
Wow, very nice.  :OK

Russ:
Sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference!

Thats some nice stuff there!
