Cab is painted. Just wet sanding and buffing. Then put everything back together.  Probably about six weeks till wheat harvest. We might still be working on her in the wheat line. Hope she’s ready for harvest.

Thanks Pappy. The guys really are putting a lot into this one. It’s always been such a nice driving truck and very dependable.

My nephew is rebuilding the fuel tanks. We cut the ends and fittings off the old tank. It was corroded where the straps held it on and needed to be repaired or replaced.

We had two sheets of aluminum rolled and tig welded ends and fittings in.

We did the same thing for our 1985 Kenworth and it worked really good. Not exactly cheap, but much better than a new one or a leaky tank.

I’m starting to get a little bit of a break. Still lots to do but not crazy.

The black beans came up beautiful. So far the weed control looks good to. Long way till harvest, but nice to get a good start.

The local truck show is in town today. The young buck shined up our 1985 KW and took it to the show.

I like our Mack’s but this old KW is my favorite. Just a really nice dependable truck and I love the way it looks.

Hope you all have a great Father’s Day.

I lost mine a few years ago. I still see him in different ways. I’m sure glad I had such a great dad.

He didn’t have to tell me he Loved me. I could see it in how he sacrificed for us.

Love you Dad. Know I probably should have told you that but I think you could see it to.

PS it doesn’t really hurt to say it out loud
