That rig is looking good, I always love putting stuff back together also, tearing down not so much.  :)

We should work as a team, Pappy.  I'm great at breaking things; it's getting them back together that causes me the problems.   ;D

I’m sorry but I have been very busy. Between work , family and my cousins I haven’t been getting much sleep.

I’m with pappy. I much prefer putting back together. It usually goes together easier than it comes apart.

My cousin returned for his annual pilgrimage home. His first stop is my beach to “reboot his soul “.

We got some much needed rain even if it came a little faster than we like. My garden was flooded. Definitely some flooding in some fields but ours look pretty good. Just a few small areas so far.

The 4th of July was spent at the beach with some friends and family.

Before I knew it, it was time to meet my cousin for a good bye cup of coffee and a beautiful sunrise.

I’ll miss him but honestly I feel like I need a little break.lol

But alas no break yet. We are cramming to get everything ready for wheat. The heat and rain really made it mature quickly.

It’s ready before we are .

Close doesnt haul any wheat to town though.

Fortunately we did finish the six axle trailer and we borrowed a semi tractor to put on it.

Wheat harvest is in full gear and the lines are long. It’s a hot two hour wait in line to get unloaded. We need extra drivers to get the trucks back in time. We managed to keep up to the combines .

We got rained out today. We are in our last field by my house and beach. It’s closer to the lake and the last to ripen and dry down. So far the quality has been fair to fantastic and this last field is fantastic before getting rained out. The rain is supposed to end overnight and sunny with wind tomorrow. The temperature has dropped which helps slow the sprouting process and hopefully keep our quality up.
