The veil between this world and the next

Trapper Rob:
Sleek I know what you mean this April 9th will be two years since I got thrown off of a skid loader on the farm. The doctor came in and told my daughter I probably won't live. Like you said it makes you look at things different.

Pappy:
Hope all is going well with you, and you thoughts are my thoughts exactly, yep the older you get the more you think about those things, I remember thinking when I was about 40 if all goes well I am about half way home, now I am thinking I am 7/8's of the way there if all goes well, ??? as John Mellencamp said in an interview I read last week, " It's just the math "  :) :)

Pat B:
It's all a roll of the dice. And, once you get used to it it best not to think about it. I'll be 72 in July. It's hard for me to believe I'm almost 72 but I'm healthy so I try to take everyday as it presents itself. I only hope when the time comes I have time to say goodbye then I'm gone. Not wasting time worrying about it, though.
My byline...make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes. This has been my life's mantra for as long as I can remember.

Gimlis Ghost:
Way I look at it, if you live a century or just twenty years you've lived a lifetime. Just some lifetimes are shorter or longer than others.

Parnell:
I’ve always admired that byline, PatB.  Sleek, good post, and I am appreciating the comments here, as much as ever, I feel.  Looking forward to seeing and spending time with folks coming up.  Sending my best to all you fellas.
