2022 Bow Trade - complete

hoosierf:
We’ll done on both of those bows fellas.  Super cool.

Kidder:
So I’ve got both my bows finished. The first done was a yellow heart boo at 50# at 27.5”. The second was a boo yew at 55# at 27.5”. Both bows measured 64” tip to tip. The yellow heart has a power lam, glued on handle, and tips of an ornamental cherry I took out of my yard. The yew has no power lam, tips are Buffalo horn, strike plate inlay is mammoth. I scooped the fades, which I think looks pretty cool. Overall both bows are great shooters. Neither is perfect. Each taught me some lessons. The unstrung profile pictures are immediately after unstringing. The yellow heart maintains a slight bit of reflex as does the yew, but the yew took some uneven set in the upper limb due to having too much positive tiller early on (lesson learned). Haven’t decided which I’ll send but I’m leaning towards the yew. Happy to hear any suggestions and constructive criticisms.

Digital Caveman:
Both look great, I love the tiller on the Yew bow especially!  You should put both of these in BOM.

superdav95:
Both bows are amazing!  My vote goes to the yew bow of the two.  I’d take either one of these bows.  Nice work.  Love the scooping detail and mammoth inlay!

Dave.

Allyn T:
Very nice kidder, I like the scoop
