Will sinewing affect heat shaped timber?
« on: February 25, 2022, 05:29:46 pm »
I have a short bow, very light weight, I am going to sinew with two or three layers of sinew. There has been some heat shaping, flipped the tips a little, some sideways correcting and reflex one limb to match the natural reflex in the other limb. Draw weight is 28@24”.  Will the water from the glue and sinew undo any of the heat-shaping?

No, it shouldn't but be sure you give it plenty of time to dry back out before you strain it.
