Tillering advise on hickory bow

(1/2) > >>

Oldvol:
This is same bow that I asked for help on string alignment March 15th. Asymmetrical bow with right limb 1” longer than left limb. Bow is 11/2” at fades and 1/2” at tip, 65” ntn. Bow is pulling 50# @ 24”. Goal is 50# @ 28”. Tillering gizmo indicates stiff spot mid limb on right limb where there is a knot. I am concerned about continuing to remove wood in that area because of the knot. Please critique tillering to this point and advise how to proceed.

bradsmith2010:
sand it even till you hit 50 at 28

simk:
Both midlimb seem a little stiff to my eye 🧐

Oldvol:
There is also a knot in the middle of the left limb but the gizzmo doesn’t mark it.

superdav95:
Oldvol.  It looks pretty good to me right now but right limb is slightly stiffer on the inners then the left.  It does look balanced to me though so I’d shoot it and see how she feels and call it good.  Nice work.
