Fox this is a great how to, and they give directions for wood and carbon arrows

BowEd:
Good site for getting the basics for arrow tuning. From there you can progress.
Years ago I did the bare shaft and paper tuning of arrows with a bow making friend in his shop and never forgot it.
It can help you enjoy archery whether it be target shooting or hunting.
I use a digital dial indicator on my spine tester set up since I make my own arrows too.Very accurate.Just need to buy a new battery every great once in a while.
Their bow press on that site was not what I needed though.

This is mine.

BowEd:
Cool Don.Guess I could of done it that way too.I have a digital caliper also. You have to have a vey loose fitting calipers to detect the slightest weight.
Here's mine with the digital dial indicator that detects the slightest weight.26" spread between resting posts.2 pound weight used.mm to pound conversion chart given in the book.Chart measures from 30#'s to 70#'s.
