Keokuk point
Wolfmanjack:
Knocked this one out tonight. This keokuk is ok to Knapp with but I find myself wanting to go back to citronelle chert. I like the color variation of the citronelle. You never know what color you’ll get with citronelle and there’s bunches of different colors/combinations.

Looks nice to me wolf man. The first stone I ever tried to nap was keokuk. It is nice to have some variety and change things up a bit. Nothing wrong with that one though and when you work a pile of black obsidian the white keokuk has some nice color to
Thanks for sharing

Very nice! Perfect ratio for sticking an animal.
Allyn T:
Very nice, I like it. Where is citronelle chert from?
Wolfmanjack:
Citronelle chert is found as creek cobbles in southwest Mississippi into Louisiana. From what I’ve gathered it was formed up in Ohio and was brought down through glaciation however many millions of years ago. When heat treated the colors are amazing. I live in south La and we have zero rocks down here. I’m talking nothing naturally occurring.
