Yew ELB with feature knot

I haven't posted for a while, here's my latest. A challenging stave with a lot of deflex in one limb and a hint of relex at each end (see before and after side by side pic).
It took a fair bit of steaming and some heat treating to get it vaguely symmetrical. Now when it sits on the floor belly down I can just get one finger between floor and grip (it was about 4 fingers originally!)
The sapwood is a rather dissappointing grubby colour, a bit gray in parts but it seemed to be sound
It's pulling about 77# @ 29" in the full draw pic.
The knot was a bit of a challenge at that draw weight, so I kept the bow long, 77.5" ntn. I allowed a little extra width at the knot but no extra on the belly.

That’s  a serious knot.  Looks like you sorted it out just fine.    Bow looks great too.
