Offside Of Secondary Feathers

Does anybody use the off side of secondary feathers for anything. For example can the off side of a left wing secondary be used as right wing or is it just a wast of time. Seems some say that they can be used but seem kind of curly to me. Turkey feathers by the way.

The off side will be a bit floppier than the other but it should work on well tuned arrows. Ground might work better than stripped feathers.
