Did you intentionally shape a little deflex into the sleeve fit, or did the natural shape of the billets dictate it?
I have an old Scotish, or English bow from the 19thC, with joined billets where they were intentionally aligned with a little deflex. Like yours, the limbs appear to have taken zero set along the limbs.

The billets had some natural deflex there. You can't really play with the profile at the handle like you can with a splice when you're using takedown sleeves. Once I had the bow bending some I heated most of the deflex out but as you can see there is still some left. It certainly didn't take away from the efficiency of the bow. It shoots quite well.
