2022 Arrow Trade

M2A:
Got a package from Pat B yesterday. Enclosed were 2 sourwood shoot shaft arrows. One with a stone point with turkey wing fletchings and the other the shaft was sharpened, fire hardened with goose fletchings. Both are in the 2 fletch style with self nocks. I've seen lots of pictures of the 2 fletch style but never any in person before. Very cool. Eastern woodland is some of my favorite type of style so these 2 examples are super.
Hope my pictures do them justice. Thanks so much Pat!

Trapper Rob:
The wife told me I got a package in the mail today from M2A.
I'll open it when I get home.

M2A:
Thats good news Rob. I always hate that limbo between sending something and the time it gets there.

Here are some pics of the arrow I sent to Rob.

Point is a Madison style from Nethers' Flint ridge I dug last year. Overall I was pretty happy with how that turned out. Pretty much the best I can do. Viburnum shaft and just had some fun with the fletchings and barberry/walnut stains.  I had not been happy with my sinew wraps that I had been putting on my own arrows so I slowed down for this one and tried to keep it as neat as I could. Funny how much better things can be when you take your time. Anyways, hope you like it Rob.

Trapper Rob:
Mike thanks for the arrow you do nice work.
My boy and I are going to camp this weekend I'm going to try to finish my arrow while I'm there.

WhistlingBadger:
Fun to watch these happening.  I'm going to do this next year.  You all have my permission to bug me about it if I don't.   ;D
