Honey Locust

I cut a piece of Honey Locust the other day, not for a bow. This stuff is very heavy and dense.
There is another tree in the same location that is bigger, I think I will cut that for a bow.
It seems like it would make a good white wood bow.

I've never used honey locust for bows but from what I've heard it's a marginal bow wood. If you have other more proven bow woods available I would go this that.

May be the thornes are good for arrow points?
