Honey Locust

(1/2) > >>

neuse:
I cut a piece of Honey Locust the other day, not for a bow. This stuff is very heavy and dense.

There is another tree in the same location that is bigger, I think I will cut that for a bow.
It seems like it would make a good white wood bow.

Pat B:
I've never used honey locust for bows but from what I've heard it's a marginal bow wood. If you have other more proven bow woods available I would go this that.

Chumash:
May be the thornes are good for arrow points?

bradsmith2010:
I have heard same as Pat,, maybe very wide and long would work,,,,

neuse:
Ok, I am not going to mess with it then.
