Yew bow
PEARL DRUMS:
Haven't made a bow in several years for various reasons, primarily motivation. This one is 70" ntn and 42# @ 29.5". The tips and grip backer are rosewood and the grip material is stingray leather. The finish is lemon oil/bees wax with several coats of Johnsons over that. I know the unwritten rules in regard to posting bows on here, but I don't have a full draw pic, so you will have to trust me on this one ;)
Selfbowman:
That’s a beauty.
bradsmith2010:
great work, I can see the full draw would be perfect,,,, :)
Badger:
That came out nice! Hope you enjoyed building it!
PEARL DRUMS:
I have to admit, Steve. Getting a nose full of wood dust felt great. My arms needed the work out as well. I could feel it in my arms I was pushing and pulling hand tools again. Mostly, I was just thankful that inspiration finally came back around. I cant build a bow because I should, or because I have to. I have to have the desire and vision in my head first. Otherwise its a train wreck and no fun for me.
