Which material for the tillerstring?

Same string I shoot on the bow. Mostly ,but not always D97.

I saw that kind of ringshortener on Del's Bowyer's diary - gues I'm going to adapte that - thank's for sharing!

As a result of the question materialwise, I would sum it and say: for longtillering the material is only limited to length and knotsavety, rather than material it self.
