Nice points!  i would hope the warden would think "In the spirit of the rule" they aren't barbed.Ya gotta attach 'em somehow! Anyhoo, wouldn't closing the top of the  gaps with a bit of hideglue or sumthin "unbarb" them? I would hope the archery laws are written mainly to go against technological innovation and undue cruelty, not elegant craftsmanship!

  Nice points Pappy. Seems to me once something that sharp makes a pass-through it doesn't matter if it's barbed or not. Hell, a deer ain't like a fish. ;D

Great points Pappy.I make mine nearly identical,only 1-1/4" wide and 2-1/4" long. They will go right on through a deer too. Good hunting, and God Bless
