Leg spur knives

BowEd:
A different version soon to be finished.

bjrogg:
Really nice Ed. I have a stone point one I made , but yours look much better. Like the button cap on the end of handle.

Pappy:
That's a beauty also, hope you don't mind but got inspired and started one like it yesterday, got the handle looking good and working on the file blade for it today. Nice work. :)

BowEd:
I've seen these type knives with stone points for sale at gatherings before too with different type handles made by Stringman.Very well made.I have stone point knives here too.I choose a steel blade though as I use them a lot with my hide work and around the farm.More durable and hold an edge very well.
Finished up on this one.Got a mechanical peened over connection from the handle shank onto the pommel with this one.I suppose it looks more secure, but the others' pommels won't pop off either after I get done with them.
Turkey season opens up soon again.....ha ha.Hearing them gobble already in the early morn.

I'll make a sheath for it later.

bjrogg:
They all look great Ed. You always do really nice work

Yes I think the first time I saw a turkey leg handle knife was one of Stringman’s

The steel blade looks great with it and certainly much more user friendly.
