Apple limb bow question

Lost Oki:
Did some minor scraping on belly, sanding on belly and back and weight bow at 14.6 oz.  Since limb was cut mid February I decided to put on rack and give it a month to dry and then weigh again.  If not drop in weight I will straighten the one limb and start working it down to my desired draw weight of 40lbs.
