I had a stave 61” long. Lots of twists and crocks. Thin rings nothing special about this one.

I roughed it out and put it on my caul and gave it a lot of heat correction and a heat treatment while I was at it.

Then I got it bending pretty decent in my vice.

Then I finished tillering using only my finger calipers.

They have a attachment that fits on my rasp

And they also separate from the rasp to quickly give me information about the thickness of my limbs.

Here’s first brace profile.

I don’t want to bend it anymore than brace right now. It really needs to reacclimatize a bit. I’m sure it is very dry yet.

Will see what it looks like at full draw in a couple days
