Heat-Treating stone

Just wondering if you can stop and then re-start the process when heating stone

Yes you can

I've reheated stone up to 4 times with no bad side effects. Of course, you have to start from zero and ramp up to the desired temp each time.

I've also ramped up and down and back up again because I changed my mind in the middle of the process. Turned out ok as well.
