Diddo.  Nice save on that one.  I’ve had to do the same to save boo backed bows.  When they don’t pop they work well.  Very nice bow indeed.

Shame about the Tonkin. I was surprised when I heard it lifted a splinter, due to its reputation in cane fly rods. I was under the impression it was one of the few boo's that could take flattening of the outside nodes, and not be affected.
