paulc:
It is Mike...the shaft is some kind of landscape/exotic cane that grows striped light/dark green here in Savannah.  Pretty sure it is not native but it works.  Turkey fletching from a buddy who had some wings/tails that decided he wasn't going to do anything with.  Sinew is from my rifle hunting of deer on Fort Stewart and pitch mostly collected on Fort Stewart.  It shot really well from my 50lb osage bow, 27-28"ish draw...I hope the shaft stayed straight!  I left a couple sister shafts in my garage and they seemed to bow a bit with the humidity :-(

Best, Paul

Got mine sent out today.

Hawkdancer:
I cleared some room in the inbox, so  I guess I am back on the air!  Dealing with a few not so minor challenges, such as Jacie's car dying dead,, and the creeping crud!  Should still be able to ship by next week!

M2A:
Here are some Pics from the arrow I got from paulc. Interesting fletching as the cock feather is shorter, not sure you can see except in the full lenght pic. I might need to test that out sometime. Any thoughts behind that Paul? But its great to have a back story behind pretty much all the materials! Thanks again Paul!

The shorter fletching is a mix of waste not want not, "this side up" clarity and I wanted to see how it looked/functioned....willing to bet I'm not the first person to try it... :-)  Paul
