Gorgeous, love all those little pin knots and bumps.
Just how I like 'em

Lovely piece of wood turned into a beautyful bow! very nice (-S
maybe I'm totally wrong but to me somehow its seems to have a negative tiller...
cheers
SebastianArc:
Thanks guys..Yeah the tillering process on this bow wasn’t easy and still looks odd! No matter how much wood I’ve taken off the top mid limb!
The bottom limb had a bit of natural deflex and the top limb had natural reflex! I didn’t want to over-stress this wood to much so decided to induce some deflex on the top limb and couldn’t do as much I’d like as the wood did not take to heat well. Never had this problem with yew before but I think the seasoning wasn’t great and it began checking along the back when I added heat to it,I managed to get them early enough to soak them in glue and seemed to be fine ever since.. the tiller stilll bugs me but seems to be shooting very well with very little set.
Aksel:
NIce bow. If it shoots well and doesn´t take more set it´s a success no matter how much the tiller annoys the eye.
+1 for the linnen string
Hamish:
Beautiful job. Stunning character in that stave.
