Nice.  My dad had a set that looked like the second set in your video, he called them Ojibwa style.

Just curious.

Snow has to get pretty deep before anybody puts snow shoes on around here but we occasionally do.

Hardly anyone uses cross country skis. I have a pair from my uncle and when the snow gets deep they are pretty good for getting through the woods. I didn’t think they would be but you don’t need trail. You just ski over the snow covered down logs. Really nice when a trail is already broke . Just stay in same track.

Anyone else try them?
