GlisGlis:
I love them
the variations of the handles are really nice
great work  :OK

bjrogg:
Thanks Glis Glis. Everyone is different. I started out with a piece of cherry firewood that my now passed wood working uncle had saved. My cousin gave it to me.

I split it into kindling sized pieces. The splits follow the grain and make each one different and give them character.

I used an angle grinder with a floppy sanding disk to give them the crude shape and then use my hand tools to finish them.

A little char from my propane torch and then sanding with Emory cloth for the color.

Everything is natural. Wood, pitch glue and sinew.

Robert Pougnier:
Yep I keep coming back to check these out, I could see how making these would get addictive! I like the scorched wood, It's a really nice touch.

bjrogg:
Thanks Robert. You are right. It’s very addictive. I just can’t wait to make another one. I have a pretty good system and I am really improving my halvting skills.

I’m also enjoying putting them in different places.

These three and my bushes beans can are setting roots in my man cave.
