I was thinking about you when I was playing with carving my mushrooms. Gotta admit I think I could really get into it.

You are certainly on a whole different level than my mushrooms though.

Thank you Bjrogg, im glad you're enjoying some carving  :OK,
 Mushrooms would be a  good way to make use of some of my oak off cuts, they'd make great little ornaments  8), I'd also like to try carving some simple frog and mice, as well as songbirds, when i find some time.
I do enjoy your life on the farm blog and follow it, very interesting to get a glimpse of a different world to me, I enjoy a little gardening but farming is full on. I just finished pruning back some rose bushes and I'm having a go at making some outdoor bonsai's out of Olive, Japanese red maple, and rosemary, lavender and sage, which, for the most part, I have just root trimmed and repotted. I'm finding it quite addictive. :)
