as for the dye:  what do you do, mix it with acetone?  Why? I like the way the stain came out...pretty cool

That bow turned out really well. The unbraced profile is particularly impressive. Wow.

Thanks Pat, Jonathan, and Gordon. Radius, I mixed acetone with it because I was out of alcohol. It soaked into the Boo grain real good and evaporated fast as I could mix it.

Steve, thanks, copy away. The glue up was one of Marc's and it is fast. I'll try to get that stave to you this week.
Mike, I don't know about the Yooper style wearing on me. Been around 'em all my life down here and the best lesson I learned from 'em is which way is North. I know where to point whenever one is lost. The Bounty Hunter shirt is a buddy's band that plays in Sturgis and Bike Week in Daytona every year.

Steve, Sending it because I wanted to, not thinking I owed you. Besides I think you can get more out of this stave than me.

Turned out sweet, Eddie-looks like it ought to do the job and then some. That handle looks kinda skeery, though  :o
