Ash Reflexed Longbow 64" ttt 20#@28"

I found a nice piece of ash while I was at work and split it into a bunch of staves.  This particular stave didnt split as well so i decided to make a lighter weight bow for my friends daughter.  Its 20# or so at 28".  Dyed the back with red and violet leather dye.  I was hoping for a more violet color but the outcome wasnt bad.  Belly was done in steel wool and vinegar.  I like the grain orientation on the handle so I didnt cover it up with a handle wrap.  I also made more of an indexed handle thats pretty comfy.

That's an awesome lookin bow, I bet she is gonna love it.  I like the colors too.  Turned out really nice.

Very nice bow!  She will love it. I agree, the grain in the handle looks awesome. Look forward to seeing what you make from the rest of your staves.
