Elk jaw knife

<< < (2/2)

WhistlingBadger:
Thanks, guys.  Working on a badger-head sheath for it.  Stay tuned...

WhistlingBadger:
Finished the sheath for this beast.  (By the way, did you know that "sheathe" with an e is a verb, as in "to sheathe a sword," while "sheath" is a noun, the thing you put your knife in.  30 years of teaching and a master's degree, and I just learned that)

Badger hide, home-tanned elk leather, stitched with Irish linen.  The empty eye holes looked kind of creepy, so I glued colorful rocks into them.  Good thing they don't look creepy now.  ha ha   ;D

I might try and sell this to finance spring travels.
Or I might keep it to wear with my kilt.  We'll see.

WhistlingBadger:
(sorry the images are so huge)

Pappy:
Looks very cool from what I can tell, yes the pictures are very large but still looks lovely me some fine work. Pappy
