2025 Junior Bow Trade

I got some heat on mine today and straightened it out quite a bit. It had some twist and deflex, so tried to counter twist and add a little reflex. Gonna let it sit a day or so and then tiller away. I also got some rawhide coming, may or may not back it with that, just see how it goes I guess.

Got the rawhide glued on today. Glued it with TB3 and then put a thin piece of foam on top and wrapped the whole thing in athletic wrap. I used the foam so that it would hopefully press the rawhide more evenly and avoid the wrap marks of the wrap. Anyway, looks like a mummy at the moment. Next pics will hopefully be of wood bending :)

I’m getting close to completion but, I hope nothing happens until it’s done. I Shot this bow 50 times and it didn’t break, so I’m feeling pretty good. Never built one this short, so I have it on a form and prepped for sinew, because I don’t want it break, never get invited back.
