Wallski:
Hey you all, I just finished my bow, so no pressure.   I really enjoy this build because it makes me build something I normally wouldn’t build for myself
, and it forces me to try something different.   The bow I received last year, really showed me what I was lacking, so I stepped up my game, not only for this build but, also for myself.

stuckinthemud:
All right then guys, it's September.  Please can y'all check in (except Wallski, who gets to enjoy shooting -in the new bow/hanging it on the wall/standing it in a corner ;D  We know a couple of us have had life get in the way but an update would be really useful please

Aaron1726:
Nearing completion on mine, been shooting it some when I can. Still have to sand it good and get a finish on it.  Should be done soon

paulc:
I have made some progress, but please don't wait on me!  I am sure you all are excited to send/receive your creations....

Still have a ways to go on straightening this stave, I expect it will be straight enough to get serious on tillering by end of weekend.

Chinese Elm, 62" tip to tip.  Paul

paulc:
Here is my elm bow after the weekends work of removing more wood and heat treating some more.  I don't think I can do any more straightening as where it needs to move is where there are knots or some other thing going on that I am afraid to tweak any.  I hope to get it on my tillering board this weekend and get the limbs moving.  Take a look at the pics, and the knot pic.  Thoughts?  The knot is on the belly, but also right about at a fade so not great placement.  I have filled it with superglue and will just hope it is okay I guess....Again, don't wait on me if everyone else is ready to ship!  I've a long way to go yet.  Paul
