Osage Tiny Bow

(1/2) > >>

ajooter:
Found some osage in Albany NY believe it or not.  I had a decent piece that I struggled chasing a ring on due to some lighting issues.  I had a small piece left so I decided to make a little bow oit of it.  I forgot how great this stuff is to work with.  I'll have to figure out how to get my hands on some without breaking the bank!  Here's a link to the initial short I made and the one to follow alog with some pictures.  After I finished the bow up I decided to take it outside and shoot a couple little arrows out of it.  Del was right...these little bow pack a punch.  I sent an arrow over my target and clean through my vinyl fence.  I did have to chuckle when I walked up to find the arrow and all I could see was the green nock through the hole in the fence.

Nice, good luck finding some nice osage without breaking the bank.

Pappy:
Love it, I built some like that for my grand kids, they are tougher for me to get tillered than an adult bow, nice job on that one.  :)
