Building a bow for raffle to raise prize moneys for IBO women

Sleek we didn’t do any online tickets. Everything was just people at the fund raiser.

I wish we could have sold tickets to online participants. I had several friends who were interested in buying them. I’m sure we could have raised a few more dollars if we could have but the people in charge of the fundraiser decided not to. They had a lot of other donations. Literally hundreds of them. They where  good causes and the people of our community stepped up however they could.

Lots of donations and lots of support for them

I think a raffle will make the most for the good cause as well.  There are always give-a-ways on trad sites where you just trust the person will draw a name and make it all fair.  I don't know why it couldn't work, but Arvin would need to accept one of the online currencies, like PayPal.   Good luck with yet another nice thing that you are doing for the sport Arvin.

Could you just do a post and ask interested folks to answer with a commitment and set a dead line on the item . Then receive a check and ship the bow???  Maybe on this site. Then build to the highest bid specks. I’m not computer smart enough to do anything else.

I think the best way is to get online exposure.   I know that’s not everyone’s forte including me.  The best run raffle or online giveaways I’ve seen were where the builder would do an online YouTube build along and then show the finished bow shooting and maybe a chronograph shot or two.  Maybe like a moderated super chat where folks wishing to donate the minimum amount say 20-30$ per name entry they improve their odds.  This would be where the most money would be raised for the good cause.  Like I said you may need someone to help you set it up and assist with the videos to be uploaded but you would likely generate a following from viewers and interest that way as well as word of mouth.

Good looking start Arvin, not sure on which is the best way to raise money but feel sure it will do well what ever you decide, I always felt the raffle was the best way, seems to get more involved that can't really afford the cost of the silent auction , but it is a gamble, I have had some of my knives and bows bring way more than I though they would doing both. :-\
