From my road-trip

(1/1)

bjrogg:
We went on a road trip and my first stop was to see my buddy DVS Hunter. I always enjoy hanging out with him. Honestly one of my favorite people on this site.

He got out a couple really nice Georgetown nodules and a moose billet. My first introduction to both and I was pretty impressed. Thanks for the experience Dave.

When I went to leave he handed me the huge biface he was working on and a nice spall to take home.

I still haven’t had the urge to hit the big biface. I really like it and the memories it brings me.

I did get the urge to try the spall. It’s not perfect but I’m pretty happy with it. Thought I would take some pictures before I do something stupid. Hopefully I don’t screw it up notching it.

Made it a stem point and haft it to a piece of cholla. Black Walnut and English Walnut button. Signed it and named it roadkill.

Just have to add a string to hang it from

bjrogg:
Put artificial sinew string on to hang it from

It’s really just to display the piece, but you could wear it for a necklace or neck knife

I think it would go good with tie dye.
