Sleek I said I didn't know what I was doing, and I was right. Thank you for the advice, and for the offer. Those arrows take time to build, so I Really APPRECIATE it.

I've just beat my PB and broken the 400 yard shot:-

Congrats on that, I am lucky to get 100 yards out of my set up. 😊 Pappy

Well Del, I suppose I should pack my bags, head your way, and study under you! I thought I knew what I was doing, then you beat me by over 50 yards! Can you give me the dimensions of that bow please? The length, and its front profile ( how wide it is and what it tapers down to ) , as well as how much reflex it has? This has got me excited, because now I KNOW a 50 pounder can go 400 yards, and I have a goal that is affirmed to be possible. THANK YOU!

Badger:
Del was using an elevated rest, a fast flite type string and a 20" arrow with an overdraw. Probably worth well over 50 yards shooting that style of flite bow.I bet Del gets that up to about 450 eventually; he is just getting started.  He also took the time to tune the arrow to the bow. Some valuable lessons here.
