Display Bow

I bet it’s possible. Sort of along with with what pappy said, take a heat treated bow and get it tillered till it looks good at brace then leave it. Don’t tiller it out as would normally do. I wonder if it would hold better. Less stressed belly wood and less tension for the back. Worth a shot.

I might even be tempted to heat one up in a full draw profile. Display it with a arrow notched.
I have seen them shaped like this for movie props so the actors don’t have to hold a real bow at full draw.
Just a thought

That would be super cool! And have a squirrel shooting it!
Selfbowman:
I had a friend leave one strung over his fire place for a year or so. It took lots of set and became a dog But kept the strung shape. But a nice decoration for the fire place.
