Opinions on Osage bow design and tillering for 3 under/split finger

Pat, I've got a friend that I shoot with that has started making Osage selfbows also. I’m thinking of giving him the 1st bow I made with flipped tips back in November to break in for me since my shooting has been limited. I can have him adjust the nock point to tune for 3 under, and see how it performs for him. See if hand shock, noise level, etc, all stay manageable.

I was just hoping as much experience there is on this site, someone could offer some opinions from their personal experience.
