As I mentioned in the other Giveaway Prize thread, any of the donated items would have been awesome gifts - but I couldn't pass up a custom built bow from Arvin Weaver. 
It was such a pleasure working through this bow build with Arvin - he was more than generous with his time and sharing his knowledge. After a phone call to get the specs for the bow, Arvin took me along on a personalized build-along, texting me pictures of the progress throughout the build. It was humbling to watch him knock out the bow in about a day and a half, and that included some time out to entertain friends who came to visit.
I wasn't able to get out and shoot the bow this week with work and the cold temps, but today I made it out and ran it through its paces.  The bow is smooth and fast - not sure how fast without a chrono, but I can tell it is snappy.  Thank You - Arvin, I couldn't be more pleased.
