yea Arvin, its all about early drawweight - we both know practically now that very well (-;
what I like about this excel stuff is the vizualisation of things in the graphs....you can actually see the extra energy.
And once these sheets are written, they are very esay to use - you dont need maths anymore. just fill in your numbers.
And Tuomo is right: The energy storage factor might  be the most conclusive number for us.

Tuomo: You decided to continue the discussion on your own thread  :)

After posting a wrong file yesterday (ups, sorry).....=> here comes the the right one. I even added a column for a second bow.

Now everyone can easy analyze his own bows the easy way. Just check it out.

Yes, I decided to start a new discussion on this topic because it is so broad. You present here a nice bow and a precise question, which has already received an answer.

Your Excel file is nice and simple – easy to use. Unfortunately, there is a small error in the calculation of the stored energy. In column G, the last cell (G43) is unnecessary. While it is technically possible to calculate a value for that cell, it should be omitted. If it is included, it effectively assumes a draw length of 29" with a draw weight of 0, which is incorrect. Therefore, that cell should be deleted.

I checked this multiple times, and this is how the numerical integration works.

thanks tuomo - I got lost there.
I now made the sheet a little more intelligent so it knows where the bow ends. the energy storaga slightly dropped.

here's the corrected file again.
