I don’t really have access to one Badger.

I do have a big field though. I’m actually hoping Ryan comes this way and we can let a couple fly. I think that’s a good possibility. I was actually hoping Arvin could sneak over to, but he’d probably rather come in the summer.

Fields are still pretty wet but the frost is coming out.

Another beauty, Brian.  I love the way you faded the skins out onto the handle.  I like a leather handle wrap myself but I agree with your decision to leave that one alone.  Too pretty to cover up. 

"Bottom half is straight; top half has just the right amount of curves."  I'd have thought you were getting a little old to notice that sort of thing!

Anyone ever use Pine snake skins. They can get quite large, they would always get squashed on the road as they stretched out on the warm asphalt. or they would get caught up in the baler.

We call them bull snakes around here, and yes, they make superb bow backings.
